We put sustainability at the first place in our innovation process, in order to reduce the impact on the environment.
XBake is a bakeware collection with a reduced environmental impact, made of a support steel coming from production processes transformed thanks to sustainable innovative technologies and therefore equipped with an XCarb® green steel certificate, a trademark registered by ArcelorMittal. This represents the path taken towards the decarbonisation of the steel industry production process, contributing significantly to the reduction of the CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.
The XBake moulds are made with an innovative non-stick coating, which is PTFE and PFAS-free and reinforced with ceramic particles, studied and produced by ILAG.
XBake represents a concrete action undertaken by Guardini and its supply chain towards the reduction of the environmental impact.
B-Nat is a range of baking moulds made of Hi-Top steel with an innovative non-stick coating based on CARNAUBA WAX, made according to ILAG standards.
The carnauba wax replaces chemical additives in the composition of the non-stick coating, giving the surface of the moulds a natural slipperiness and non-stick.
The Carnauba wax is obtained from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera, cultivated in Brazil, and it is the result of the natural process of wax production generated by the tree. The wax is produced thanks to the modification of the surface of the leaf to increase its impermeability during the rainy season.
EASY BAKE BIO is the collection of disposable moulds for baking sweet and savory dishes. The range is made of trays for the presentation of pastries and other food and cups for the preparation of muffins and cupcakes. The line is made with totally recyclable or compostable materials. The pack is made of recycled plastic. The moulds are 100% Made in Italy.
The range includes 3 types of moulds: those that have the OK Compost Home, Ok Compost Industrial or Aticelca certification.
The items that have the "OK compost Home" logo are designed and made of compostable material intended for disposal at home, that is in the home composting. The materials that carry this certification (it is a standard for the certification of compostable materials) are able to degrade effectively and certainly in domestic composting conditions, such as those present in garden compost bins.
Other items have the "OK compost Industrial" logo. It means that these items are designed and made of compostable material intended for disposal in industrial composting plants. These articles, once used, can be disposed of together with organic waste. Plants in which this type of waste is disposed of have controlled and optimal composting conditions, allowing a fast and complete degradation of the materials.
The moulds of the Easy Bake Bio line that have the brand “Riciclabile con la carta” (Recyclable with paper) are made with material that can be disposed of in the paper after its use.

LOWER ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT, GREATER RESULTS
In Guardini we have a great goal: improve our strategy to better our quality, because for a successful company the satisfaction of our clients is fundamental. For this reason, we concentrate on two main aspects:

The Quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 represents for Guardini the commitment in constantly improving our company performances, in terms of products, productive process and company organization.
Our management building was designed in 2010 and built according to strict criteria of eco-sustainability.
Some of the measures adopted to make the performance of the building suitable for environmental sustainability and eco-compatibility are all plant systems limiting the "energy waste", such as: solar panels, the electrical system, air conditioning and controlled mechanical ventilation, high-performance glass windows and mirrors from the point of view of energy; passive systems to mitigate the temperature inside the building.
We have obtained the authorization to use the Der Gruner Punkt logo "We participate in packaging recycling".
The "Der Grüne Punkt" (The Green Dot) is a registered trademark and packaging recycling system, mainly widespread in Germany and other European countries. It was introduced as a private initiative of companies in the packaging industry to promote recycling and reduce waste.
The brand "Der Grüne Punkt" is often printed on our packaging to indicate that our company is committed to contributing to the financing of packaging recycling.
The system manages the collection and recycling of packaging so that it can be transformed into new materials. In addition, the brand has become a common symbol of environmental responsibility in the consumer goods sector.
We were honoured to receive in 2023 the Sustainability Award, an award for Italian companies that distinguish themselves in innovating and promoting sustainable development. The award recognises companies that embed sustainability in their DNA, adopting processes, systems and resources to reduce their environmental and social impact, thus contributing to sustainable and
Collaboriamo da anni con Chep, scegliendo i pallet per la nostra logistica, per contribuire ad arricchire la nostra supply chain di industrie virtuose e rigenerative. Questa collaborazione, ci ha portato a ricevere il Certificato di Sostenibilità CHEP, relativo alla nostra collaborazione con l’azienda nel 2023.
Scegliendo i pallet CHEP, abbiamo contribuito alla preservazione delle risorse naturali, a risparmiare emissioni di CO2 in atmosfera e a diminuire la produzione di rifiuti.

Within our activity, we believe in the principle of protecting the environment, not only respecting the applicable laws on a national and regional scale, but also with the definition of an annual program of improvement aiming at:
- reducing energy consumption and increasing the use of renewable energy sources
- reducing the emissions in the atmosphere
- reducing the use of materials (paper, plastic, etc.)
- reducing the use of resources (water, gas, etc.)
- controlling the flow of the waste disposal.
A concrete example of our commitment is the construction of our new headquarters, designed based on the strict criteria of eco sustainability to pursue our goal of reducing our environmental footprint and obtain a positive balance between the value offered by this solution and the impact of our productive activity.
SUSTAINABILITY IS A CHOICE
Our Sustainability Report, drafted on a voluntary basis and drawn up in accordance with GRI standards, represents the concrete and quantifiable commitment that the Guardini company assumes and carries out with transparency.
The Report collects the projects and initiatives that involve the company in the themes of Corporate Responsibility, environmental and social sustainability.
The objective is to report the commitments and results achieved and to communicate them in a tangible and transparent way to all stakeholders involved directly or not directly in the company’s activities.
