68 2024 Sustainability Report Supply chain: open innovation We believe in developing increasingly close and fruitful synergies with those who not only ensure reliability in production performance but also share our values and expectations regarding ethical, environmental, and social standards. We are therefore committed to supporting our partners in innovation processes and involving them in corporate strategies, generating mutual benefit and positive feedback from suppliers themselves. In a market marked by increasing complexity, we have strengthened supply risk analysis and management with a focus on business continuity, while actively seeking new, well-structured suppliers who are attentive to sustainability and aligned with our brand values. Supply chain oversight is deeply rooted in our company’s history, as we have always relied on a selected pool of trusted suppliers. In particular, building long-term partnerships with leading European steelworks, which operate in an oligopolistic market, is even more crucial for business development and proper risk management in raw material sourcing. For the construction and maintenance of our machinery as well, we rely on long-standing suppliers who, over the years, have gained deep knowledge of our company, the materials used in production, and related criticalities. For non-core products and services, we turn, whenever possible, to national suppliers, in order to benefit from logistical advantages, generate income, and create job opportunities locally. We monitor and support our business partners with internal documentation (manufacturing specifications, control plans, etc.) for specific processes (design, communication, website management) and outsourcing (packaging and molding of certain finished products). of new suppliers assessed on environmental and social criteria 100 %
