This assumption is particularly valid for products purchased and subsequently resold, and also applies to our steel bakeware. In the latter case, any scraps generated during production are valorized through their sale as by-products, retaining economic value and contributing to recycling in third-party supply chains. [2] The percentage of recovered products was calculated using average European end-of-life scenarios, based on Ecoinvent databases. [3] The weight reported for coated steel includes both the pure steel mass and a marginal share of the non-stick coating. For further details, see the section on PFAS. [4] The total amount of steel sold includes both the weight of finished bakeware and the scraps sold as by-products. Output materials To quantify the output materials from our activities, we estimated that 100% by weight of purchased materials are effectively placed on the market in the form of products. This estimate applies both to finished products that we purchase and resell, as well as to materials such as steel, whose processing waste - although not included in the final product - is nevertheless sold as a by-product. These residues retain significant market value and are directed to recycling at third-party facilities. In 2024, the predominant material in our sold products was steel, accounting for 75% of the total by weight. Paper and cardboard followed, making up 14%, confirming the significant share of cellulose-based materials. Furthermore, we estimated that the recovery or regeneration of our products amounts to approximately 513 tons, equivalent to 18% of the total weight of goods placed on the market.
