This is how our products are made

Our raw material

Guardini’s moulds are made in ECCS (Electrolytic Chromium Coated Steel) and TFS (Tin Free Steel), a special type of steel, specifically designed for baking.
Thanks to its characteristics of thermal conductivity and to its low thickness, this type of steel guarantees a rapid and uniform cooking in the oven, better than any other support material.

Production

Its high resistance makes it possible to produce bakery moulds with very thin materials so as to optimize baking time and quality.
The high performance related to the characteristics of steel and its low thickness is combined with the properties of the non-stick coating. In fact, steel is coated with non-stick paint, which guarantees an easy demoulding of cakes and the perfect cleaning of the mould after its use.

Non-stick coatings make it possible to cook with reduced quantities of oils and fats, a basic principle in healthy cooking.
All non-stick coatings applied on Guardini’s moulds have been tested and approved by certified testing laboratories and are used in full compliance with quality standards and international regulations regarding the characteristics of materials intended for contact with food (Ministerial Decree No. 220 of 26 April 1993, updating Ministerial Decree of 21 March 1973. Transposition of Directives 82/711/EEC, 85/572/EEC, 90/128/EEC and 92/39/EEC, 93/8/EEC, 97/48/EC, 2002/72/EC, 2004/13/EC, 2004/19/EC, 2005/79/EC, EC Regulations No. 1935/2004 and No. 1895/2005, Arrêté du 25/11/1992, BfR Recommendation XV).
XYLAN
  • Single layer non-stick coating

ILAG SPECIAL
  • Double layer non-stick coating
  • Excellent non-stick properties, which make it even easier cleaning after use.
  • Thanks to the remarkable resistance to abrasion, is recommended for intensive and high-level use, for baking both sweet and savory recipes.
  • Thickness: 10 -18 micron.
  • Maximum temperature: 230°C.
  • BPA, PFOA and heavy metal free.
ILAG ULTIMATE
  • Double layer non-stick coating reinforced with ceramic particles.
  • Excellent non-stick properties, which make it even easier cleaning after use.
  • Thanks to the remarkable resistance to abrasion, is recommended for intensive and high-level use, for baking both sweet and savory recipes.
  • Thickness: 10 -18 micron.
  • Maximum temperature: 230°C.
  • BPA, PFOA and heavy metal free.
GREBLON
  • Double layer non-stick coating
  • Thickness: 8-12 micron.
  • It is recommended for intensive and high-level use.
  • Maximum temperature: 230°C.

QUANTANIUM

SKANDIA
